Volunteer-Built Mountain Bike Trails in Northeast Ohio

Rust Belt Revival Trail Coalition (RBRTC) is a volunteer-run chapter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), based in the Youngstown, Ohio area.

We build, maintain and advocate for mountain bike trails across the Mahoning Valley and surrounding counties. Our volunteers look after the singletrack at Lake Milton State Park and Beaver Creek State Park, working with Ohio State Parks so riders of every skill level have somewhere great to ride close to home.

Everything we do depends on people: riders who show up to trail days with rakes and loppers, share trail conditions, welcome new riders and help the sport grow. Whether you have been riding for years or are thinking about your first mountain bike, you are welcome here.

Where We Ride

Our crews focus on two state park trail systems, each with a very different personality. Start with the overview on Our Trails, or dive into the detailed guides below.

Lake Milton State Park

About 10 miles of twisty, flowing singletrack near Craig Beach, with bermed turns, bench-cut hillsides and short, punchy climbs. A welcoming trail for newer riders and a fast loop for experienced ones.

Beaver Creek State Park

Steeper, technical and scenic trails in the Little Beaver Creek valley near East Liverpool, best suited to intermediate and advanced riders.

Check Trail Conditions

Trails change with the weather. Check our Facebook group and Trailforks before you drive out, and give muddy trails time to dry after heavy rain.
