2023 RBRTC BEER RIDE

Parking for the event is available at Firestone Park (338 E Park Ave, Columbiana, OH 44408) and in Columbiana around town.  We will limit this event to the first 100 registered riders (online reg only). 

Stop #1 on the BEER tour – Birdfish Brewing Company – Columbiana, Ohio

Once you have your bike, helmet, and gear and are ready to ride head on over to Birdfish Brewing Company.  We’ll meet inside the brewery, have a pint and a quick pedaler’s meeting and then we’ll be on our way.  We’ll leave as a group after the meeting and follow the official route. Please avoid parking in the Birdfish Brewing parking lot, as they need the space for patrons throughout the day!  Ride starts at 11:45 AM.

Stop #2 on the BEER tour – StoneYard Grill & Tavern – Niles, Ohio

We’ll leave as a group from Birdfish and ride on roads to get to the Greenway bike trail.  We will follow the Greenway and Millcreek Metroparks bike trails to Stoneyard Grill and Tavern.  StoneYard is a new stop for BEER Ride.  You’ll find food and of course BEER at the StoneYard, where they carry over 16 local and craft beers.  This is the longest stretch between breweries from Columbiana to Niles.

Stop #3 on the BEER tour – Paladin Brewing Company – Austintown, Ohio

We’ll leave from Stoneyard and bike down the bike trail to Paladin’s.  There is no sign on the Mill Creek MetroParks bike trail indicating Mahoning Ave, but exit the trail before it crosses Mahoning Avenue.  Head east along Mahoning Avenue and Paladin Brewing Company is your left a couple hundred yards up the street!

Enjoy Paladin Brewing Company, they have many fine craft beers!

After we leave Paladin we return to the bike trail  and pedal back to Birdfish Brewing Company.  This segment between Austintown and Columbiana is a mix of road and paved bike trail.

Fourth and final stop on the BEER tour – Birdfish Brewing Company  – Columbiana, Ohio

Rest up and come in for a pint of BEER and FOOD.  There will be a food truck on site and expecting us all after a fun day in the saddle.

Before the Event the morning of:

We will hand out T-Shirts (for the registrations that made before 27 May 2023) and a pint glass at the beginning of the event, so please come a little early to speed up that process!

RULES:

1. Have fun, relax and have a BEER!
2. Cycling Helmets Required!   No Exceptions.  We will be riding on roads and paved bike trails.
3. Observe all traffic laws on the roads and trails.  RBRTC is not responsible for your misconduct, you are!
